Lagao is a Barangay that lies at the heart of General Santos City.

Our Barangay's remarkable rate of development has established Lagao as One of the most progressive economic communities in the region.

Events that unfolded in the last ten (10) years saw the dawn of a new beginning for Lagao as Gensan's newest center of 4E's - education, enterprise, entertainment and employment.

With the completion of the Barangay Lagao Community Report, may we find the sense of stability and life to continue this dynamism that will fully transform Lagao's landscape into one of the most promising business and financial centers not only in the city but in the region.

"Barangay Lagao will have a sustainable and social services thru its participative local governance coupled with quality education, infrastructure projects, improved environment and sanitation sevices and economic development."
